A lieutenant colonel, a 2nd Lieutenant and other officials of the Philippine Air Force and Armed Forces of the Philippines were killed when their UH-1H aircraft crashed last January 16, 2021, 2:30 PM, in Sitio Nahigit, Brgy. Bulonay, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon.

The casualties were Lieutenant Colonel Arnie S. Arroyo, 2nd Lt. Mark Anthony Caabay, Staff Sergeant Mervin Bersabe, A1C Stephen Aggarado, Sgt. Julius Salvado, CAA Jerry Ayukdo and Jhamel Sugalang.

The said aircraft was monitoring and delivering supplies to the military troops operating in Mt. Saldab Range, Bukidnon since January 7.

Amid the astounding P47.5 billion allocated for military expenditure for 2021, where big amount is intended for AFP Modernization, the regime scrimped by purchasing second hand and outmoded military equipment.

As Duterte’s fascism and corruption persist, his foolish and dirty war against the people will surely fail.
